Monday Motivation | Making Connections
Kick off your week with Monday Motivation!
Tip of the week
If you’re interested in networking with a professional you admire in your field online, resist the urge to send a generic LinkedIn connection request. In fact, personalized LinkedIn connection requests are encouraged at all times, especially if you’re trying to keep in touch with someone you only met once or rarely interact with in person. If you don’t know the person at all, a message stating why you’re reaching out to them is highly encouraged. Do you hesitate to connect with professionals you haven’t met in real life? You can always just follow their LinkedIn profile, no connection requests or messages needed.
