Monday Motivation | Go Ahead, Hit Send!
Kick off your week with Monday Motivation!
Tip of the week
Wondering whether or not to send a thank you note after an interview? The answer is yes! The employers you spoke with took time out of their schedules to meet with you, so letting them know you appreciated that time is always a good move. This may help to set you apart from other applicants if they do not take the time to demonstrate their appreciation. A thank you note can most easily be sent over in the form of a thoughtful, but brief email (check for grammatical errors!) after the interview. Try to remember to ask for a business card from those you interview with if you don’t already have that. If you cannot locate their email addresses, LinkedIn messages may be an option, as well as hand-written notes delivered to the office.
