Event | NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship Application Seminars in Olean, NY and Buffalo, NY
This summer and fall, join us to learn about the application and panel process in cities across New York State.
For 33 years, The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has administered a state-wide artist fellowship program on behalf of New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is a $7,000 unrestricted cash grant awarded to individual artists living and working in the state of New York. These fellowships are not project grants and are designed to give artists the time, space, and resources they need to create.
We are pleased to announce that NYFA Grants staff will present NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship application seminars across New York State this summer and fall. The first two events in the series will be held in Olean, NY and Buffalo, NY. These gatherings will provide artists of all disciplines with the opportunity to hear about the application and panel processes for the upcoming award cycle, which will open in Fall 2018. The 2019 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship award disciplines will be:
- Architecture/Environmental Structures/Design
- Choreography
- Music/Sound
- Photography
- Playwriting/Screenwriting
