This May, Andre Joseph of Aj Epyx Productions premieres his short film, The Saxophonist (Sponsored Project). The film tells the story Lonnie, a saxophone player in New York City, who after losing a major record deal and his girlfriend, tries to get back on his feet. After finding new love and a new label, Lonnie must choose between his love life or his career. The film premiers at Brooklyn Fete (1515 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226) tonight at 7:30 PM. The New Regulars, co-led by Audrey Logan and Luis Salazar, will host the Season 1 finale for their hyperlocal web series, The Locality (Sponsored Project). The web series features the creative minds of leaders and entrepreneurs in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Crown Heights. Meet, mingle, and watch the finale with The New Regulars crew at Five Myles (558 Saint Johns Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238) at 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 17. The event is free and open to the public.
