October is Arts Month at Foundation Center, and NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship is partnering to share fundraising resources and strategies. Share your story and connect with colleagues at the events below.
Arts Month: Kick-off & Networking Event
Join the NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship team, as well as representatives from League of Independent Theater, Princess Grace Foundation-USA, PROTOTYPE, and HERE. Each organization will give a brief presentation of services, to be followed by networking with colleagues and presenters, so remember your business cards. Foundation Center’s funding library will also be available for use.

Arts Month: Fiscal Sponsorship for Artists
Sarah Corpron, Director of Business Services at New York Foundation for the Arts, leads a discussion about the role of fiscal sponsorship in helping individual artists and emerging organizations expand their fundraising capabilities. The conversation will give insight into how fiscal sponsorship works, the potential benefits of fiscal sponsorship, and services offered. Come prepared to ask questions about funding your project, and glean knowledge from an expert in the field. Participants are encouraged to bring their business cards and share their ‘elevator pitches’.
