Thanks to the artists, arts professionals, and cultural organizations who joined us for the 21st edition of #ArtistHotline on Twitter! The monthly Artist Professional Development Day is a great way to connect with the arts community and share advice for building a sustainable arts career.

- organizing finances in and around tax season;
- touring an installation to galleries;
- finding funding opportunities for a small arts business
“Teaching Artists:” Key Takeaways from the Guest Chat
During March’s Guest Chat, arts education consultant and educator Sobha Kavanakudiyil and poet and educator Aja Monet gave professional insights into a variety of topics, including:
- creating opportunities for students to expand their networks and to share their work;
- encouraging students to reflect and revise;
- creating age-appropriate, engaging, and meaningful lessons;
- getting input from students on goals and rubrics;
- building revision into your lesson planning practice;
- incorporating student leadership and learning from students
