Sound II: Mikhail Iliatov, Thessia Machado opens this weekend at Cindy Rucker Gallery.

Mary Tooley Parker (Fellow in Folk/Traditional Arts ‘15)
Parker’s work was selected to be included in the 4th Annual Blue Mountain Gallery Juried Exhibition.

Michelle Brody (Fellow in Architecture/Environmental Structures ‘00)

Dread Scott (Fellow in Sculpture ‘01, Performance Art/Multidisciplinary Work ‘05, Interdisciplinary Work ‘12)
Scott will be taking part in the panel “ART AND ACTIVISM TODAY – WHAT ARTISTS DO TO PROVOKE CHANGE” with fellow artists Sue Coe and Mel Chin.

Lorna Bieber (Sponsored Project)

NYFA Congratulates:
Larry Krone (Fellow in Crafts ‘09)
Krone’s work Then and Now (Circles: Coreopsis Moonbeams, Irises, Poppies, Forest Road) is going to be acquired as part of the permanent collection at RISD Museum. The NYSCA/NYFAArtist Fellowship Program awards $7,000 grants to individual artists living and working in New York State. The 2017 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship award cycle is currently open, with an application deadline of Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:59 PM (EST).
