First Thursday: Folk My Life Performance

Meet us in DUMBO to get the royal treatment and to experience Folk My Life, an exhibition featuring NYFA Fellows and Finalists in the Folk/Traditional Arts category.
On Thursday, August 4, during DUMBO’s First Thursday Gallery Walk, Aeilushi Mistry will perform Garba – Divada dance, a folk dance from Gujarat, India in the gallery space. Paulomm Mistry, a Percussionist, will play Garba Dhol while Aeilushi Mitry and Rutvij Mistry, will perform the dance and invite attendees to dance along. The gallery will be open from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and the performance will take place at 7:00 PM.
