During our September 21 Doctor’s Hours for Visual Artists, we are hosting the second talk in a series of conversations with gallery owners on Building a Relationship Between Artists and Gallerists.

Asya Geisberg is the owner and director of Asya Geisberg Gallery, a gallery in Chelsea specializing in contemporary, emerging, and international artists. She has been involved in the arts for 20 years, as an artist, curator, and arts journalist, as well as working in museums and galleries. She has a BA with honors in literature, history and philosophy from Wesleyan University, a Diploma from the Museum School in Boston, and an MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York. She is a member of the New Art Dealers’ Alliance (NADA), ArtTable, and a Board member of NURTUREart. She has lectured for SVA, American University, RISD, Wesleyan University, MuseFuse (NURTUREart), University of Texas, Asylum Arts, 3rdWard, and Brooklyn College, and conducted studio visits for the NARS Foundation.
