Kick off your week with Monday Motivation!

Tip of the week

Many interviewees dread the seemingly innocent question, “Tell me about yourself.” That’s why we’re sharing a few tips from Alison Green, author of Ask a Manager.

Green explains that interviewees are trying to get a sense of how you see yourself as a professional. Everyone will answer differently. However, “generally a good answer” will last about a minute. You “will summarize where you are in your career, note anything distinctive about how you approach your work, and end with a bit about what you’re looking for next.”
