COVID-19 | NYFA Announces Free Programming, Online Learning, and Expanded Job Opportunities
We’re making our online workshops and conversations FREE to all who are interested.
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) empowers working artists and emerging arts organizations across all disciplines at critical stages in their creative lives and professional/organizational development. We aim to be a resource to artists, arts administrators, and students everywhere, especially when so many in our creative community are reeling from lost jobs, opportunities, and income as a result of the coronavirus crisis.
As such, we are taking action by offering free services across many of our programs. Anyone with jobs or paid internships in any industry has the opportunity to post for free on NYFA Classifieds. We are regularly updating the Emergency Grants page of NYFA.org with COVID-19 specific funding, and encourage you to visit if you have not already. We are also making the majority of our professional development programs free for the immediate future, breaking down cost barriers so that anyone who wants to participate can do so. These opportunities will all take place remotely so anyone with an internet connection can register and join. We’re listing a summary of upcoming programs below, with more to be added in the coming days on the Events page of our website.
If you know someone who might be interested in joining, please share with them.
