Creative Careers Jobs Round-Up: Curatorial

The word curator stems from curare, which is latin for “to care.”

At NYFA, we greatly appreciate those that care about art. Curating can give art enthusiasts an opportunity to help shape the way art is viewed or interpreted by audiences. Jay Sanders, for example, reflected on his past experiences curating for the Whitney Biennial (opening this Friday), saying: “In a sociological, structural way, the Whitney Biennial is a chance to rewire how the museum works, how you build your walls, how you ask an audience to engage with it, which has really broadened my thinking.”

If these are the kinds of questions you’re interested in, our job board is a great resource for job-seekers interested in working in the curatorial field.
