Doctor’s Hours for Filmmakers and Theater Artists on November 20
Doctor’s Hours for Filmmakers and Theater Artists
Thursday, November 20, 2014, 6:00 – 9:00 PM
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is pleased to announce the first Doctors’ Hours for Filmmakers and Theater Artists, a program developed to serve theater artists, film and video makers, and anyone whose work crosses disciplines.
Are you at a crossroads at the beginning, middle or end of your project and looking for direction? Are you seeking professional feedback on a work sample, trailer, website, outreach strategy, written material or grant application? Networking may be the single most valuable thing you can do for your career. This is an opportunity to meet people in two closely related industries and make them familiar with you and your work.
This event offers individual, 20-minute, one-on-one consultations with producers, artistic directors, directors, playwrights, performers, screenwriters, theatrical and nontheatrical distributors, exhibitors, broadcasters, outreach strategists, and fundraisers from organizations such as The Public, New York International Fringe Festival, League of Independent Theatres, Cinetic Media, and First Run Features.
WHEN: November 20, 2014 from 6:00 PM- 9:00 PM
WHERE: New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA)
20 Jay Street, Suite 740, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Directions are available on our website.
COST: $25 per appointment; there is a three-appointment limit per registrant.
