Events: Inaugural Doctor’s Hours for Literary Artists on March 24
NYFA announces new programming for literary artists working in all genres
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is pleased to announce the first Doctor’s Hours for Literary Artists, a program developed in response to a need expressed by writers looking for advice regarding furthering and sustaining their careers.
Are you at a crossroads at the beginning, middle or end of your manuscript, chapbook, short story or article and looking for direction? Or, are you seeking feedback on a synopsis of your book, letters of inquiry, artist statements, website, or outreach strategy? Come to NYFA’s Doctors’ Hours for Literary Artists and get the conversation started!
This event offers individual, 20-minute, one-on-one consultations with editors, poets, authors, publishers, and writers affiliated with publications like Gigantic, Harper’s Magazine, BOMB, and Spook.
The fee for each appointment is $25, and there is a three-appointment limit per registrant.
