Event | “Made in NY” Women’s Film, TV and Theatre Fund Info Session
September 5 event at full capacity. New Facebook Live info session added!
The Women’s Film, TV and Theatre Fund is a centerpiece of a groundbreaking series of initiatives by the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) to address the underrepresentation of those who identify as women in film, television, and theatre. Administered by The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), the program will provide finishing grants for film, television, digital projects, and theatre productions. All projects must be completed by March 31, 2020.
NYFA will hold a series of Women’s Film, TV and Theatre Fund information sessions for those interested in learning more. The first session, to be held on August 23, is at full capacity. Due to the popular demand, the NYFA Grants team is offering a second information session on Wednesday, September 5 at NYFA’s Brooklyn Office.* They will talk through the new initiative, touch on what projects are eligible for funding, and look closely at the application form and process. Following, the team will answer questions from the audience. Stay tuned for information on forthcoming sessions.
*This event is now at capacity. Due to the popularity of this event, we will hold a Facebook Live session on September 19 from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM.
