Everybody’s Talking about #ArtistHotline
Do you have questions about the Business of Art? We’re all ears! Tweet at us during the next #ArtistHotline on August 17, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
On the third Wednesday of every month, artists, arts organizations, and arts professionals from across the twitterverse join #ArtistHotline, a professional development tweet chat. We’re now in the second year of this ongoing online conversation, and we hope you’ll chime in!
Whether you’re seeking tips on literary submissions or wondering where to find a parent-friendly artist residency, #ArtistHotline is the perfect space to ask your most pressing questions. Artists of all disciplines can join in, share best practices, and get answers to puzzling questions like:
- How should I price my artwork?
- How can I best prepare for a crowdfunding campaign?
- How can I market my events?
So start brainstorming questions, and click here for tips on participating in this Twitter chat.

Inspired by the NYFA Source Hotline, #ArtistHotline is dedicated to creating an ongoing online conversation around the professional side of artistic practice. #ArtistHotline occurs on the third Wednesday of each month on Twitter. Our goal is to help artists discover the resources needed, online and off, to develop sustainable careers. This initiative is supported by the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.
