Fiscal Sponsorship Applications Due September 30

The official start of fall is just a month away!

Gear up for fall grant deadlines and make the most of fundraising opportunities this season with NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship. Check out our list of upcoming borough arts council grant deadlines below.

Fiscal Sponsorship Expands Fundraising Capabilities

Fiscal Sponsorship allows artists and organizations to apply for grants from foundations or corporate funders that are usually restricted to 501(c )(3) tax-exempt organizations. It also offers individual donors the benefit of a tax-deductible contribution.

Increasing your fundraising capacity means more opportunities to do what you do best, grow your project!

We’re Here to Help

In the past fiscal year, our fiscally sponsored projects earned $4,653,000* for their projects and organizations. Millions of dollars went directly to funding artists and their projects. Our projects received grants from prestigious funders such as the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, National Endowment for the Humanities and the New York State Council on the Arts.

NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship supports the outstanding accomplishments of our nearly 700 fiscally sponsored projects by assisting in grant submissions, reporting requirements, acknowledging donors, and offering feedback on project materials. We are one of the oldest and most reputable fiscal sponsors in the United States. Our experience makes NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship one of the best options for artists seeking funding restricted to tax-exempt organizations.
