Fiscal Sponsorship Expands Fundraising Capabilities
Fiscal Sponsorship allows artists and organizations to apply for grants from foundations or corporate funders that are usually restricted to 501(c )(3) tax-exempt organizations. Sponsorship also offers individual donors the benefit of a tax-deductible contribution.

New York State Council on the Arts FY2018 Grant Cycle
Each year the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) funds artists in all disciplines and only nonprofit organizations and individual artists with a fiscal sponsor are eligible to apply. NYSCA grant guidelines for FY2018 will be released in Winter 2017 and applications are only accepted from New York State residents. Apply to NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship by December 31, 2016 to get the sponsorship required for your NYSCA grant application.
