Golden Globe Congratulations to Eric Overmyer!
“The Affair” wins two Golden Globes
Congratulations to Eric Overmyer, an Executive Producer and Writer for Showtime’s new hit series, The Affair. The Affair picked up two Golden Globes during Sunday’s award presentation—including one for Best Drama Series. Its second globe went to lead actress Ruth Wilson.
Overmyer received a NYFA Fellowship for Playwriting in 1986. His plays include: On the Verge, In a Pig’s Valaise, and Native Speech. In addition to The Affair, his television credits include Law & Order, The Wire, Treme, and Boardwalk Empire.
