Highlights from this month’s issue include:
- An interview featuring Immigrant Artist Program Alumni and the creator of Mextasis, Olivié Ponce (IAP ‘09). Olivié discusses Mextasis, a symposium in Bushwick, Brooklyn and the contemporary view of Mexicans.
- Professional development resources such as Beyond Orientalism: The Forum, presented by Fordham University, which features guest artists and leaders as they advocate for diverse representation of Asian Americans, and Queens Writer’s Lab Meeting presented by Queens Council on the Arts’.
