I’m Ellen Claycomb. I’m the new Senior Officer for Special Events & Individual Giving here at NYFA. Hi!
I am thrilled to be here at NYFA. I love working for an organization dedicated to empowering artists in so many different disciplines. I come to NYFA from the True Colors Fund, Cyndi Lauper’s non-profit dedicated to ending LGBT youth homelessness. Prior to that I was fundraising for the American Red Cross.
One of the more intriguing things that I’ve seen from NYFA is that we have a Young Patrons Circle (YPC). I love the idea of having a group of patrons and artists between the ages of 21 and 40. I think it’s incredibly important to have a vibrant and active YPC. I am grateful for your support.
Starting with an invitation to our Fellow’s Party on August 7, the schedule of YPC events for FY16 is officially up and running. That will be followed by a Studio visit with graphic artist, Swoon, on September 22 and a TBD Fall open rehearsal with choreographer, Kyle Abraham.
