Description

A Brooklyn-based artist seeks an exprienced welder for a part-time postion. The Studio welder is a dependable, solution-oriented, resourceful, and practical self-starter who can be trusted to work independently or with other assistants.


Requirements: 


  • Essential Metalwork skills: TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminium, MIG welding of aluminium
  • Grinding & polishing Aluminum, comfortable working with power tools with great attention to detail.
  • Should have an excellent understanding of sculptural techniques and fabrication solutions. 
  • Patient, confident, solution-oriented, with a peaceful energy.


This is a short-term position with the possibility to grow. You must have at least three years of experience as a welder.
