Description
An independent art advisory firm in Manhattan is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful Temporary Personal Assistant to support the Owner over a two-month period. This hybrid role involves both in-person and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize professional communications, including monitoring email correspondence and drafting responses
- Conduct in-depth research on artists, artworks, exhibitions, galleries, and market trends for client-facing advisory materials
- Track and update global auction, gallery, and art fair calendars relevant to the Advisory team
- Monitor auction activity and artist performance
- Upload and maintain records and research in internal databases
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed
- Assist in the coordination and support of company events and special projects
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and research skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with the contemporary and historical art market
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and/or other design or presentation tools strongly preferred
