Description
About ArtBridge
ArtBridge is a nonprofit that empowers local artists to transform public spaces, with a focus on art that derives from community engagement. We create large-scale public art exhibitions throughout New York City; 75% of our exhibitions are on the city’s 300+ miles of construction fencing. Our largest program, Bridging the Divide, takes place in public housing (NYCHA) developments in NYC.
Founded in 2008, we have experienced recent growth resulting from the 2023 implementation of a new law, through NYC’s City Council, that codifies our programming on construction sites.
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Program and Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations and programmatic activities of our growing nonprofit.
Position Overview
The Program and Operations Assistant is an entry-level, full-time position reporting to the Program Director and Executive Director. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about public art and community engagement, and who wants to learn more about nonprofit operations.
The position offers a blend of programmatic and administrative duties and will play a key role in supporting ArtBridge’s public art projects and internal operations.
This is a full-time, hybrid role, with a minimum of two days per week at our Chelsea office in Manhattan.
Start date ASAP, though ideally no later than mid-July.
