Senior Graphic Designer

Description

Pentagram is looking for an eager and creative graphic designer to join Abbott Miller’s team.

This person will create design solutions for a range of projects including, but not limited to,

visual identities, logo design, brand architecture, print work, and environmental design. This

role will be ideal for a designer who can conceive design concepts, refine with client teams,

and see them through to implementation.

We partner with brands of different sizes across various industries including higher education,

cultural institutions, non-profits, tech, telecommunications, banking, law, entertainment,

consumer goods, and more. An ideal candidate will be working with a wide range of clients and have the ability to balance multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the Partner in collaboration with the Design Team to help develop projects from concept through implementation and support the design process at all stages
• Work with the Project Manager to develop project schedules, scopes of work and deliverables
• Conceptual thinker and strategic designer
• Ability to develop identity systems from ideation to launch
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Create full design documentation and develop brand guidelines
• Extreme attention to detail
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment
• Motion design experience is a plus
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn

Requirements:

• 3—4 years of experience working as a graphic designer in house or at an agency, preferably on brand identities
• Strong typographic skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to travel
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite tools, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Must be eligible to work in the US

Estimated Base Salary Range: $75,000–$90,000. 

Actual compensation package is dependent on work experience, education, market data, and business needs.
