Get excited for the NYFA Fiscally Sponsored project Eighteen to Life which was picked up by the internet streaming service Netflix and will premier as Making a Murderer on December 18, 2015! Members worldwide can watch the documentary series exclusively on Netflix.
The two directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos have been following the story of Steven Avery and the criminal cases he is involved in for the past 10 years. Lisa Nishimura (Netflix’s VP of original documentary programming) said that “there are an unbelievable number of twists and turns in the story arc of Making a Murderer, it feels like it has to be fictional.”
We already picture ourselves cuddled up on our couches all of December with a delicious hot-chocolate and popcorn, binge-watching this captivating real-life crime series.
