New York Foundation for the Arts will host an information session in Mandarin on Tuesday, March 8, presented by Judy Cai, Program Associate, Asian Affairs. The event will provide an introduction of the upcoming multilingual Doctor’s Hours, and an overview of NYFA’s free and/or low-cost resources and services for artists working in all disciplines.

Judy Cai is the Program Associate of Asian Affairs at NYFA. With a strong interest in arts and cultural exchange, Judy is managing NYFA’s China programs and outreach to local Asian artist communities. Earlier this year, she coordinated an exhibition with the China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) as part of their Fantastic Art China: International Creative Festival in New York. In 2013 and 2014, she facilitated two intensive professional development training programs for Chinese art administrators and curators in the United States. Additionally, she is working on various professional development programs at NYFA, such as Boot Camps, Arts Business Incubator (ABI), and the Immigrant Artist Program (IAP). Prior to this position, Judy was the Outreach Coordinator at Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts. To widen her vision about arts and culture in various fields, she has also worked at Christie’s, Dance/USA, and Shanghai International Arts Festival. Originally from Shanghai China, Judy has a MA in Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a BS in Culture and Arts Management, and a Bachelor of Law from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
