NYFA BOOT CAMP IN SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY
Artist as Entrepreneur Boot Camp comes to the Art League of Long Island this Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2015.
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is coming to Long Island. Working with NYFA, the Suffolk County Office of Film and Cultural Affairs has selected the Art League of Long Island to offer this exciting program at their center in Dix Hills this coming weekend from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM on both days.
Artist as Entrepreneur Boot Camp provides artists with a unique opportunity for individualized focus on the professional and business side of their creative practice. It is a rigorous blend of formal classes, networking and group interaction.
Artist as Entrepreneur Boot Camp
helps artists to spark goals and to define concrete steps to building a business plan that can lead to financial security. Attendees gain valuable knowledge through the presentations conducted by professionals who specialize in serving the needs of the arts community.
Presenters include NYFA Staff, Carol Steinberg, Esq.; and Bailie Slevin, Founder and President of Entertaining Finance, in partnership with Millennial Capital Partners.
