Spotlight on a NYFA Doctor: Hallie Ringle

NYFA is pleased to introduce one of our newest consultants, Hallie Ringle, who will be joining us for the next Doctor’s Hours for Visual Artists on Monday, February 23 from 6 – 9 PM. Hallie is a Senior Curatorial Assistant at The Studio Museum in Harlem. She curates the Harlem Postcard exhibition at The Studio Museum in Harlem each season. In 2013 she presented at the Conference on Africa and the African Disapora: Social Movements, Political Expression and Religion.

Her most important advice to artists who are navigating the art world? 

“The most important piece of advice that I would give any artist, especially emerging, is to have an online presence. I recommend having a website with pictures of current and previous work (including title, dimensions, media, etc.), an artist statement, CV, press and contact information.”
